Bassett Park in Roma came alive with a burst of vibrant hues as the annual PCYC Maranoa co-lourXplosion Fun Run brought family and friends together for a fun Easter Sunday of celebration.

Supported by Senex Energy, the event drew large crowds and filled Bassett Park with colour.

Participants in the 5km fun run and walk were showered in a kaleidoscope of colours throughout the course, making for a very colourful experience.

Many entrants were in fancy dress, adding even more flair and personality to the event.

The colourXplosion wasn’t just about fun – it served as a vital fundraiser, with all profits supporting PCYC Maranoa’s youth programs.

PCYC Maranoa Club manager Trish Brider described the event as a significant contributor to facilitating free local programs and activities for young people.

The colour Xplosion kicked off with a warm welcome from Senex Energy Community Relations manager Trevor Robertson and Regional Manager for Youth and Community Programs Rob Workman, who officially launched the event.
